Di Canio is under investigation by the Football Association after he was alleged to have referred to Tehoue, 28, by his skin colour, not his name. But the Italian, 43, told BBC Wiltshire: "It's a non-story." please log in to view this image The BBC had learned that Swindon wrote to the then-Leyton Orient forward's lawyers and apologised for the remarks. However, publicly Town have voiced their support to Di Canio. Swindon's solicitor wrote in response to the French player's lawyers in April, saying: "The club wishes to make it clear that it does not condone the reference made by Mr Di Canio during training on 29 March to your client. please log in to view this image "The club accepts that the use of this phrase was inappropriate and apologises to your client for any upset that this has caused him." Swindon released a statement on 15 May saying that, following an internal investigation, they would give their full support to Di Canio. And the Wiltshire club reacted to the BBC's findings on Tuesday saying the lawyer's letter was sent "before an internal inquiry had been completed by the club in response to the complaint made by the player" and that "accordingly we continue to stand by Mr Di Canio and the contents of our statement". please log in to view this image They also claimed that Tehoue, who only started once for the Robins and has since been released by Orient at the end of his deal, was in breach of contract after refusing to train during a scheduled session. Di Canio flew back to his native Italy after guiding his side to the League Two title this season, but returned to Swindon on Wednesday to announce he had agreed a new contract to stay with the Robins until 2015. Referring to Tehoue's claims, Di Canio added: "It's only a story because someone wrote it down in a newspaper. The club was straight and there is everything in the club statement. "I can only add in an extra line to say that the true story will come out one day and one person will be in trouble but it's not Paolo di Canio, for sure." -------------------- Seems like they got the wrong guy.
Canio is a neo nazi racist and should be sawn in half and dragged through the streets of what ever scummy place in Greenland he came from. The locals can then pish on him the greasy haired itie coward.
"I am fascinated by Mussolini. I think he was a deeply misunderstood - basically a very principled, ethical individual." - Paolo Di Canio
Red hand salute. Get it right buoys. Seems you're trying to defend Di Canio for being a racist. I did NOT see that coming.
To be fair to Di Canio, who is a proven nutter but not yet a proven racist, Julius Caeser was using that gesture long before Hitler and his pals knicked it. It's a Roman salute.

And the swastika was associated with hinduism (I think) before Hitler used it. The fact that the Lazio ultras display a lot of white power banners doesn't help his case either.
Aye, but he says hes nae a racist just a fascist The funny thing is you probably think all of those are nazi salutes only the 2nd one is
It's a Roman salute, done by a Roman, while at a Roman club to Roman fans He may or may not be a racist but its unrelated to the salute
Yeah unrelated that he gives a fascist salute to right wing Lazio fans. Tina you do realise the RA are an illegal terrorist organisation that are still bombing and killing people. Buoy - a cheap piece of plastic, full of air. You understand Mindy.
The Romans were democrats and despots....I don't think they were fascists though...but if that's how you see it....does that make rangers fans who do it fascists because they are right wing supremists? The Queen loves the 'RA Willie Wilton wouldn't have needed a buoy if Bill Struth wasn't on the boat
