    Someone who does not understand nutrition. I assume the reason is the processed sugar content of those products.

    If you are about to train or just have trained, your body requires easy access carbohydrates, a small amount of sugar (like in a sauce) will have benefit if anything.

    Not many things are bad for you if they are eaten in moderation and at the right times.
