Yeh its been coming but thought Grayson had been doing a decent enough job with what he was provided with :)
Can they afford either of those two? Give them Shearer! :D

Swampy - quote from that Leeds-18 character you mentioned on that earlier thread: -

"just trying to make a point about relative squad abilities and how well the managers are getting said players to perform. And Grayson is doing it better than Mackay"

well its going to be difficult for him to do that now that he's sacked lol, in the meantime i'm happy for our mediocre manager to drag us through the doldrums of 3rd place and a league cup final ;)

lol DJ, look at the contrasting signitures of leeds fans and mine,

theirs read stuff like 'ken bates the cancer of leeds' etc

they genuinly believe accomplished managers like warnock and steve bruce will want to manage them <doh>

Gotta feel for the guy, players sold from under him, didn't have the funds to buy (as far as I am aware) and they expect to get a better quality manager!
Warnock did mention QPR was the last club he will manage so I'll be interested to see if he sticks by his word.

to be fair, leeds isnt really what he needs at this moment in his life, deluded fans who believe they should be higher, a legend of an owner and dwindling fan base which dipped below 20,000 for the first time <ok>

dwindling fan base or increasing number of people boycotting? You can't deny we'd be the same in the same position.

Putting my personal feelings aside for a sec, I've no affection or affiliation to Leeds or any one else but I think clowns like Papa Smurf shouldn't be allowed near any football club.

Well Colin said he's always up for a challenge and the weeds would certainly come into that category

H, Papa Smurf is aware of the boycott and he's the reason behind it. I'm not particularly bothered about Grayson leaving as this may well help us by Leeds dropping off.
I see a bigger backlash from the fans, if they are as behind Grayson as they lead us to believe, over the rest of the season. Dare I say one less team for us to worry about in the final push.

taff, I saw he's aware of it and (as I understand it), just dismissed it, That sums him up in my eyes. Didn't like him at Chelsea, don't like him now<ok>

Swamp,

Usually I'm on the fans side, too often owners or managers have made big mistakes and the poor fans take the brunt, you only have to look at Plymouth or Pompey both in their own way have great followers and both deserve better than they’ve got.

However I have no truck with the weeds fans I for one would be glad to see them fall. They have a false sense of grandeur.

Most of the points are well covered by you guys. Deluded fans piling on the pressure, best players sold and no money to buy. He's done a good job to keep them where they are.

They'll go the same way as Forrest. Everyone wanted shot of Billy Davies. I bet they wish they had him now.

Can't see there being a long list of top candidates for this job. All the usual also rans. Actually, given their financial position, DJ wouldn't be a bad shout. Papa Smurf wouldn't pay the salary though!

Clearly Papa Smurf loves football but I suspect different reasons to us fans. It's a gravy train scenario but for the life of me I see this a a bad decision on his part. Well let's hope it bites Papa Smurf in the arse big time.
