It sounds like Levy's waiting til the Parker deal is 100% complete before finalising the Palacios move. Very sensible, if frustrating for Stoke. If both deals do go through, which looks very likely, then I'll wish the Honduran well for his time at the Britannia. He comes across as a very humble and well meaning person, which is increasingly rare in modern football. There's no u in his name, by the way, just so you know.

I think it will. Parker's put in a transfer request now, so he's pretty much burned his bridges with the people that run West Ham, if not the fans.
Unsure, he's one of Harry's favorites but for the sums we've supposedly been offered he'd be mad to force the issue of him staying.

Pleased that Palacios is going to Stoke, always rated him since his Wigan days and at least he'll be getting some first team football and he'll be able to link up with some quality players in Woodgate, Jones, Etherington etc and with a manager that can get him back to the player he was at Wigan. I must say I'm impressed with Stoke's signings so far, they seem very astute in the transfer market and I think Etherington and Jones have been some of the best buys in the last few years, there is real strength and depth now at Stoke and competition for places is obviously high. Kudos
notsosmart, if your b team can see us stay up again i will be very grateful, on woodgate he playing really well at the moment, and ethers is magic.. not bad for a team who 5 yrs ago were 2nd bottom of the championship, europe,facup final and midtable finishes in the prem it gets no better for us mate, thanks to you all for your info and been a good bunch top top club with top top fans...
I think WP just needs a fresh start. Could help him put to bed some demons, while helping him get his focus and drive back.
Stoke look like they'll be in the prem for a long time, which I wouln't have expected a couple of seasons ago. Pulis is a great manager and i'd expect a 'bigger' club to come in for him if he continues to impress.
