Positives were Becchio starting, should have allowed him a full 70 minutes and Clayton and McCormack looked okay against Premiership quality. At half time I feared a 6-0 drubbing but apart from that awful, players being played out of position and as we feared a poor defense showed up big time.

i don't know if it will be different I only hope. it is tho in my opinion a bigger game than tuesday night. an away win at brighton could kick start the season. i have only seen two games on tv this year. southampton and west ham. i thought we were rubbish against southampton but 15 or so minutes apart we were excellent at west ham
we've been appalling all season except for hull and west ham and even hull wasnt fantastic, just a big scoreline
We were the best team against Boro and Ipswich, just some poor refereeing decisions and a bit of bad luck stopped us winning. Apart from Southampton, we haven't lost and played badly, and our last 2 league games we were bad but still won. It's hardly appalling.
Yeah reality check needed - some people are never bloody happy - we're winning games in the League - Couldn't give a sh1te about the carling cup... Also of course ManU are gonna beat us their reserves are worth more than our 1st team... When you can have Berbatov and Owen as Reserves it says it all.
