Have to say I'm quite surprised at that. Unless it was such a poor offer that it was instantly rebuffed but it sounds like a hands off job.

I just don't see why we need him and would think Paddy himself would want to move on and play more regularly.

I'm sure he'll want a pop at getting 3 medals first.

I'm glad of this - he's our only impact sub - if you've got a big squad, you kind of need an impact player in there for times when we're facing organised, defensive teams and you need a fresh idea.

Paddy was happy with the role he played last year, this season so far he hasn't featured as often and no doubt he would want more. Paddy is a Celtic supporter and will stay if he felt he was going to be of help and he may well play a fairly major role in the last third of the SPL and the two cup competitions.

Paddy turned the game at Motherwell late on at 1-1 ,eleven games on and counting. Rangers Bosnian striker lasted less than a day on trial , maybe they practised Games for europe and was told to stand on his own penalty spot and not move

Talking of great players 30 years ago today Paul Mcstay made his debut for Celtic , I have him up there with Henrik as the greatest Celtic player I saw , debut was against q of s in a cup game , I remember the game the following week when he scored up at Aberdeen ( good team then ) Celtic fans boycotted the game , I was in with the sheep

Be careful Harry, maybe you cannot say that.
Paddy's love of Celtic and the hope that he can make the difference will keep him happy.

If he's happy at being a squad player then cool - he's is a great impact player at times.
