The Championship club had a recall clause in the loan agreement, and the defender will return to Birmingham tomorrow. Packwood was due to remain with Rovers until 11 January, but Birmingham manager Lee Clark decided to call him back following a knee injury suffered by left-back Mitch Hancox. Also fellow Birmingham defenders Paul Robinson and Dan Burn are also just two bookings away from a possible suspension. Packwood has made eight appearances for the Pirates and proved an immensely popular addition to the side, picking up a couple of man-of-the-match awards along the way. Rovers will continue to monitor Will's progress, and wish him well in the future. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/packwood-recalled-1228964.aspx
As reported yesterday in the 'injury update' thread, McChrystal is 2 weeks away from returning and Woodards and paterson wont be ready until early in the new year. No idea with what is actually going on with Kenneth. So this leaves Lockyer or Keary who fill the gap at CB which Packwood leaves behind. I guess Lockyer will be 1st choice at CB to play along side Parkes. Keary is back up then on the bench. We cant get a loan now until the transfer window re-opens. With Lockyer dropping back to CB, I guess O'Toole will fit back into CM.
Arse biscuits! He was a handy young defender to have around - let's just hope that Parkes and Lockyer don't get injured
