Ended up on the norwich board a minute a go. And it seems they had an exhibition match with celtic last night in which our very own Dani Pacheco played.

Everyone on that board seems to be singing his praises and really hoping he signs for them...........

Dilema: Always had great hopes for Dani, but he seems to have dropped off over the last few years........Most fans think it is time for him to move on, but it always worries me, when we suggest someone moves on and other clubs are chomping at the bit to get them.

Do we let him go? and take a big risk as it could come back to haunt us...Especially if he excels at Norwich and then gets bought up by a top four team....

I have a feeling, whilst warming his spanish buns on the vallecano bench this season that some realisation may have hit home about what it takes to be a professional footballer.....Im going to try and find some highlights of last nights game. But if he was as good as Norwich fans are suggesting....(and given the promoting from youth ethos of our team as a business.) i would contemplate giving him another go......

i have one major reason for this.........the guy is the only other player we have who can play in the Suarez role, it would be nice to be able to give Suarez a break from time to time (or due to injury) and bring in a like for like...This gives continuity which breeds success..if we have to change how we play every time a player is out.....It screws us up.

My opinion (and im prepared for the oppossing opinions......play hoim all through preseason, and if he shows the kind of team ethic and passion to play to match his skills....Keep him and use him.....If he doesnt....Sell him after preseason, but not to Norwich or any other team in the prem......he has buckets of talent and i dont want to see him come back and haunt us.......

there is a masive difference between players like Darby who will be moving on and the likes of Dani....just ask a norwich fan

    Not me..lol

i gave up trying to know along time ago.....Would like to see him given another chance.....Sometimes a bit of time in the shadows can make a man......If he wants to stay with us...i say give him a chance.....We are not going to make any money selling him yet, and its not like he is on super wages and its not like we have a deluge of strikers who are banging them in...lol

Is he still on our books? I thought we sold him to someone who then loaned him out to someone else...

I could well be mistaken, but I didn't think he had anything to do with us now.

    he's the facts.

    1. every chance i saw him get he drifted in the game and never worked hard to take the chance.

    2. he's got no pace

    3. athletico have an option to buy and just threw him out there to the lesser side to check him out.... if he's available to norwich obviously athletico aint pushed.

those are the facts as i see them so i do not see some gem we are missing whats going to take the prem by storm and make us look dim

He is still a Liverpool player he was loaned to Athletico who loaned him to some other team. I think the point is that he may turn out to be a good player and that are we letting him go too early? Mikel San Jose is a good example, he is starting to look a very good player.

Three different managers didn't rate him enough. Rafa said he needed to work harder. He said the same of Babel. Both were similar - naturally talented but not delivering. Both got their chances but you don't just automatically get a "run of games" to prove yourself. You earn your place. Neither Babel nor Pacheco did. Ngog and Insua delivered more but we shipped them out, too.

IMO san jose wanted to go home and he got his wish. he was nowhere near the first team when he did.... insua also wanted to go but that's cos he got as much abuse as lucas but hadn't the stomach for it...

I am willing to bet that if the idiots who abused lucas, insua and now henderson don't see sterling play like messi when he makes his actual first start they'll start on him too.

I agree on MSJ but was he going to move Carra, Hyypia, Skrtel, Agger from their spots? ( I think he was around at the very end of Hyypia's career). That was the problem, he wanted to play. Feeling he could be our Pique type of player we let go and he becomes very good.

Did Ngog deliver more than babel?
I dont think Ngog ever really delivered....My main point is that we are supposed to be developing youth. there is no point in selling a player who has potential, if we are going to get nothing for him. We are better off trying to develop him as aplayer and then if we sell him actually get some money for him.....

I also dont agree with anyone who says that Pacheco had his chance.......he only ever got game time with our second string and we never got the chance to see how he fitted in with our first team players. he was also deployed as a winger, which he is not........the guy is creative and that is something we lack......i hope he gets a chance in preseason as we have to look to players who can improve rather than the players who are on their way out.

knowing our luck though he will probably turn out good after we have shipped him out in a part exchange for some player who cost 4 times his wages and end up being ****.....But thats most peoples answer to our problems anyway....just buy more players

    1. he never played with our first team so we never got a fair impression.

    2. 90% of teams come to liverpool and park the bus at Anfield, so what good is pace gonna do you...Its creativity that breaks down those stubborn defences

    3. has had a **** couple of years, but people react one of two ways to that...they either come out fightin when given the chance or get all mopey.....lets see what he is made of in preseason, and if he comes out mopey.......flog him to someone spanish

I'd give the lad a chance pre season, nowt to lose. worst case scenario is he's **** and we ship him off, best case we get apromising young striker.

I see a lot of potential in the guy, he was great for us in the championship, Lambert excels in getting the best out of players, especially players that people think aren't good enough for the prem.
