Patently obvious we have no pace ... well maybe we do with Byram & Polean, but they aren't being played. How can Byram get match fit when he's not playing him? Why not start a game and get at teams from the off with said players played in the right positions ... stretch the opposition, create space and make opponents use up lots of energy. Otherwise they know in the second half that we usually fade away and can then get at us using their unused energy reserves. Also we still can't do the basics right ie closing down space, dropping off players and letting them shoot & cross at will, as I've just witnessed on SSN with Forest's winner - very good strike but preventable. Listening to Brian M just now on Radio Leeds (sorry, Radio Huddersfield) he's his usual composed/articulate self, but his comments are starting to sound pretty much the same each week which is a bit concerning ... also said he's given the Board the names of 4 players who he'd like. I suppose we should be used to the rhetoric by now irrespective of who's in charge, so let's hope this time that actions really do speak louder than words - and peanuts/monkeys don't come in to the equation once again.
