Michael Smith and J J O'Toole both in it! ....but no Steve Mildenhall?! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27180793
Mildenhall has been quality and deserves recognition. But I fully understand why he hasnt been chosen. Chesterfields keeper has kept 6 more clean sheets and currently have the best defensive record in the league http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-two/2013-2014/defence/full which also explains why both CB's in the team of the year is from Chesterfield. What I find interesting is that 9 of the players is from the current top 4 clubs. The other 2 is from us who still has a chance of relegation!! O'Toole has only been chosen due to his goals. If they watched him he wouldnt have been picked. But fair shout to him. Bravo to Smith. Fully deserved. please log in to view this image
Wasn't Lambert in 2009 the last player we had in the Team of the Year? Well done Michael Smith, he really deserved the recognition, and I'm glad he wasn't overlooked in favour of someone from a team near the top of the league.
