what a load of crap that was. oxford never tested us at all in the 1st half and we had 2 real good chances yet they went in at half time 1-0 up. we need some luck. if we took our chances we would of been in full control and the performance would of been better etc. however they scored their 2nd by a pen and even then oxford didnt work us at all to win that pen. was a stupid challenge and gifted them goal number 2. after that i expected harrold (our best striker) and richards (who has most likely been out better player so far this season) and norburn (who has apparently got bags of abilty on the ball and very creative in midfield). no instead what we do to turn the game around and fight back is to take off a defender and bring on a defender. very clever tactics buckle.

oxford didnt perform that great and didnt do much in the game. however we were shocking and made oxford look good. we gifted them the game and didnt give any fight to try and get back in the game.

i wont be going to any more away games now. i will save my money me thinks and spend it on the kids. unfortunately i have already got a season ticket for home games. if this season continues like this the whole season then i wont bother getting a season ticket again. this will be 3 seasons of utter crap and i just dont have the money to waste on this lot of time wasters who show no fight no effort and no pride. i be happy to get rid of the whole lot and start again please.

Captain, i recall you saying you would be top by Christmas, and stonewall certainties for promotion, whats gone wrong, looks like you wont be playing us in league one after all.

tongue and cheek alan. i know the side needs time to gel. but after 12 league games, i have seen no real improvement like they are gelling. they dont even look like they have even tried to gel. looks like 11 men just shown up each game without actually meeting before. there was lots of optimism before the season due to 2nd favourites by the bookies and having on paper a very strong squad. but we seem to be playing like we did last season - ****.

Well, I've just about calmed down after wasting my time and money on that crap. First away game of the season and it will be my last. Never looked like getting back into the game after going one down, I can't remember us testing their keeper at all in the 2nd half.

I cannot believe that a club can play like this, with different managers and personnel, for three consecutive seasons - what the hell is going on? Do footballers arrive in Bristol and then automatically lose their desire to play football?

Buckle - it's bloody simple. Play wingers, get your full backs to support them. Play Harrold from the start. Get the midfield to protect the back four. This is ****ing basic stuff.

At least I had a good few beers to drown my sorrows after, unfortunately with my Oxford-supporting mate, who was less than charitable about our performance. Mind you, Oxford weren't up to much either, which makes it all the more annoying.
