Well, i went out this morning, bought 3 bottles of Rioja, a kilo of fillet steak, a kilo of lamb chops, a kilo of Gambas and two sea bream. Gonna have a BBQ feast with the family this afternoon. Not gonna bother listening to another 90+ minutes of absolute ****. Can't see anything other than a defeat and nothing will change until the seasons end. With Evans and Lambert.....we are doomed, doomed i tell ya!
I never want Ipswich to lose. However....if today’s game finished 0-0 with us having the normal 0 or 1 shots on target, I could accept that if it pushed lambert closer to the door
Let’s hope this mid-week meeting between Evans and Lambert is the end of this manager’s illustrious time at the club. If Evans has decided on sacking Lambert, then I think the result is meaningless. Hopefully he’s already talking to people like Paul Cook and the Cowley brothers. As for today’s match, I’ll watch it hoping it’ll be Lambert’s last game in charge. I’ve also got a soft spot for Oxford. Tipping them to win 3-1.
Admirable BBQ family fest Spanish enjoy, far more laughs, cheers and passion than tuning to another drab game!
Cant see anything other than a drubbing today, 2 -0 Oxford. Another Red, how many reds have we notched up, 5 or 6? Another sign of our sorry state
And of course no sign of Jackson or Nolan today! Oh, we have Toto and Chambo back, Oxford writhed in smiles, smacking their lips.
Going for my usual 2-1 Town win (gotta be right eventually!).A result which will save Lambert’s bacon in the short term. COYB!
Lambert’s obviously thrown the pack up in the air and seen what lands face up in making his team selection.
Reasonably bright start,a bit Route One but at least we’re trying to play the game in the opposition’s half.
One decent move but nowhere near enough. Either Lambert goes or next week’s meeting finally gets the message through to Evans.
At least we were competitive in that half. Better pressing of the ball, a more direct approach from the back and about ads many forward passes as backwards ones. Bennetts has been positive.
