    We can discount him moving to Saints, he's signed another contract at Man Utd.

    And if you thought there was even a remote chance of him joining us... then I have some magic beans to sell you at £10,000 a jar.

    From what i have heard the rumoured sightings of him in the area were true, but this was because he was invited down by mick channon for a meal regarding horse racing. I was told this meal was at st marys in the channon suite, which would explain why he was seen at/near the stadium, although the rumour of him signing was a complete load of b******s, which is now confirmed by his new contract

    Never any truth in this. No disrespect to us, but surely someone of Owen's stature would retire rather than go down a league. Glad this has dropped to bottom of threads, where it will stay unless someone posts and moves it to top. <doh>
