Not having that at all. [Coloccini] didn't touch him and to say there was intent is laughable. Let me tell you, he kicks a moving ball a thousand times a day and doesn't miss it once. If he wanted to connect with a standing leg then he wouldn't have missed. He pulls out at the last minute and doesn't touch him. Not having that's a red at all."

It was a stupid tackle, Colo has only himself to blame.

I admire his sentiment on this but had it been committed on Owen instead of Suarez we all know he'd have been rendered injured for at least 9 months.

Stuck on the treatment table with a twisted aura...

Am I the only one that sees him as no more a **** than everyone who left us when we were relegated, other than the fact that he cost us a ridiculous amount, which was due to our poor wage structure anyway?

Owen is a little ****, but I don't hate him anymore than the likes of Duff.

No, I agree. The amount of money he cost and the wages he was on were ridiculous, but as you said that's the fault of Fat Freddie rather than Owen.

Owen, when he was fit, was a good player for us. Everything that was bad about his time here really isn't his fault, although he is dislikeable and easy to blame for it.

I disliked him mainly because he was a lazy bastard for a lot of his last season with us.

Despite the many missed chances he was responsible for in the relegation year, the most odious thing about Owen was the fact he left for Man Utd on a free, and we had to "make-up" his wages for months due to some ridiculous Bosman ruling! And Man Utd were paying him about £40,000 less! <yikes>

He didn't have to take that money from a club he didn't stop getting relegated. That, in my opinion, is the act of a ****.
