Yeah totally. That makes Owen's freekick even better. Every one watching that was like oh it's gotta be Ronaldo. WTF his Hargreaves doing there. Then BOOM goal. I'm assuming that's something they practiced in training, imagine if Owen missed it.
Hargreaves was a very underrated free kick taker in my opinion. He was never going to get to take them regularly because of Ronaldo
He did score a similar free kick against Fulham which was his first United goal wasn't it? My favourite memory is the inch perfect top corner penalty against Chelsea in Moscow. About as perfect a penalty as you can concievebly get.

Rooney could play in any of those postions in that top diamond, Plus with Young, Hernandez, Berba on the bench in that team. That's like a dream come true!
Seeing Hargo clips, just reminds me what I a world class player he could of been for us if he was able to stay fit. I have to say no other player give more an Hargo on the pitch and this includes Rooney! The boy would just run, attack, defend, run, attack, defend lol
It is a crying shame that he had the injury problems. The guy was a class act. I still think our medical staff have a lot to answer for as the injury problem existed before the signing but he was always a great pro for us when he wore the shirt. I hope he does get playing at a reasonably high level again, though it will be tinged with regret if he were to play 30+ games next year, as there'd always be that "what if?" situation.
