Now i wish this lad all the best and hope he can comeback from a horrendous time, but if he does at Leicester, that will be some team with him in it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...n-Hargreaves-invited-join-Leicester-City.html
He won't have to drop to the Championship, in fact it looks like he might well re-sign for Bayern Munich.
Leicester are doing my head in at the minute, its reminding me of the Bruffen Era with the whole Michael Owen, Negredo signings
If he signs for leicester thats ridiculous, if he gets fit he would be a great signing if they get him as I think he's a great player (when fit) but he's had a nightmare since going to Man u with injuries. His wages must be quite high though. Also it must be devastating to be a player as good as Hargreaves yet lose half your career through injury.
haha more jealousy. beleive me, the squad we will have on 31st august will be scary. Nathaniel clyne, nicky maynard, miguel vitor, peter whittingham, wayne routledge, and possibly mr owen hargreaves still to join, and then theres loans. Go on admit it you are jealous. You lot are obsessed with us.
both bayern and Hargreaves have good memories of eachother but i think they could feasibly only offer a crip like him pay as you play. Whereas i think Leicester will throw a mega bucks contract at him which could just say it in that direction
Are we now ? What gives you that idea then ? Nothing you have signed has me worried nor the player being linked with you. Paper teams win nothing. Its what happens on the pitch. Looking forward to December 3rd already @ KC.
Every football fan is envious of clubs who gain success because they happen to be lucky enough to attract an owner with a load of money. Chelsea and Man City are hated by most. Blackburn were way back when. It's just natural, as you'll find out when you travel to Millwall and Cardiff next season. Personally, I don't. Football has been turned into a monopoly by Sky money and Champions League qualification. I welcome anything that breaks up the monotony of the same few teams winning everything. Good luck to Leicester. I'm far less bothered about this than I was about them going into Administration, cheating people out of money and cheating their way back into the Premier League.
This isn't a thread about Leicester per se, it's about a decent footballer potentially ruining his career by joining you.
surprised we don't go after him... though knowing our luck he would play 34 minutes and then be injured for the rest of the season like Mr.Bullard
leicester are spending big money and bringing in some decent players. would totaly expect them to be top 2 for the majority of next season, but you never know. i think hargreaves is an amazing midfielder but has a worse injury history than bullard. maybe he will drop a division and sign for leicester. cant see a prem team taking a gamble on him. id like us to go for this kinda player if possible, offering pas-as-you-play deals. bullard would be perfect for us if he was on this kinda deal. shame duffen's an idiot
Owen Hargreaves, when fit, is one of the best English midfielders around. No way will he go to a nobody club like Leicester. He'll either go to a mid prem team or a team in europe. Far too good to drop down a division imo. It's just a shame that he's been unlucky with injuries.
if clubs where interested , he wouldnt have had to advertise himself on youtube, michael owen only did it in desperation to stop us being the only ones interested
I hope he signs for them, if only so that people can stop saying we have the best midfielder in the division but don't play him.
as long as you keep making threads about leicester, then expect leicester fans to reply. To be fair mate you were on our board quite a bit when you signed hobbs, this is no different. Love you all.
