I say followers not supporters because clearly we don't get to games much, if at all. I stood on the terraces from the late fifties (with my granddad) on and off through to the late eighties, so I have done my service so to speak. nowadays I can only watch on the telly from afar but I do wear my Pompey shirt and spout off about the team to any yank willing to listen. Thus, I do my bit for moral support, if not physically getting my bum on a seat at FP. I do hope the toilets have got better since I was last there as it stank to high heaven and some geezer peed on my shoes in the cramped conditions. I was just wondering how many exiles we have out there and the range of locations.

Toilets are unchanged, probably not even cleaned since you last went. If you have trouble listening to pompey live, check the pompey live thread at match times.

I have a cousin who is an ardent Pompey fan abroad who works for Reuters in Afghanistan. He gets back for about 7 matches a season and usually blags his way in both for home and away games without paying and using his Reuters Press pass! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I've met Pompey fans-supporters all over the globe, which often leads to one beer too many and strange looks from the natives after a rousing rendition of 'Play Up Pompey'.

I live and work in Cyprus. Yesterday was Green Monday Bank Holiday (I actually took a day off!)

On walking into a bar just round the corner from my home I stumbled [not literally - I'd only had a couple] upon a guy wearing none other than a Pompey Shirt! It's a small world.

A mate of mine was living in a small town in Spain and in the area there were 3 Pompey bars.

As you can see from my name I live in Malta . I do my best to come over to the UK simply to watch Pompey . I have managed 3 games this season ,leaving Malta on a Friday eve and then its an early birdy flight back to Malta on Sunday morning. I drag my other half along just to stop her moaning , slip her a couple of hundred quid on the Saturday morning for shopping to keep her sweet . Then I put my foot on the gas all the way from Dartford , Kent to Pompey to live my dream . Oh !!! the things we do for love.

I have seen many Pompey supporters around and once I saw a Southampton fan on holiday once in Greece, took me a short amount of time to realise he was speaking to some friends in Polish, surprise surprise.
