4 league games played. From 3 of them we have conceded 2 goals, 1 of which was an own goal. The only goal we have conceded to the opposition in these 3 games was a sucker punch wonder strike. People are slating the defence and in particular our new captain. Get an effin' grip.
Good points, but if people want to complain the let them. I'm not so worried defensively just scoring.
If we scored first we wouldn't have lost any of the games. The fact is when we don't take our chances and then concede first it leaves us open to counter attacks because we are inevitably going to push forward. Or like Palace, they'll sit back all game after getting the goal. It isn't the defence that is so much of a problem, I have no doubt whatsoever that we'll be able to defend a lead... But when we are trying to get back into games the midfield moves forward more leaving the defence much more exposed.
