Not to flog a dead thing but...

Since when is it a crime to slag off chelsea fans? To me this is part of football. Why would you close a thread because of us (me) ripping on Chelsea fans. Are they too sensitive??????? Really?

This is a football forum. At football games we taunt other fans in jest. This is a core part of the game. We have a rivalry with Chelscum.

How can I 'not be helping' - if I point out they are and often have been associated with Racism. I am not here to help them out.... I am here to make them feel terrible about there terrible choice of club to support. Is that not my prerogative as a football fan?

    Please explain..

Even the nanny BBC has opened a blog on the topic.... http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-31530501 - why can't we discuss it - on a football forum - Is the new SUPERMOD a scum fan and threatens our mods on what we can talk about?

Well I'm no Belgian detective with a curly waxed moustache, but I reckon it'll be due to the thread descending into playground insults.

Add to that the recent glut of threads that have gone the same way.

It's as if we want the mods to be full time and we all want to be their bosses, scrutinising their every move and action.

I'm just amazed we still have our mods because who could blame them if they'd had enough?

''Reminds me of the virtue of welcoming from another island race Japan....http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/32788ff0-ea00-11e3-99ed-00144feabdc0.html#axzz3RyonneRB - and I quote form the FT and their PM......

On a recent television programme, Shinzo Abe was asked about one of Japan’s most politically delicate topics: immigration. Given that the population is shrinking and fewer than 2 per cent of residents are foreign, was it time for the country to throw open its doors?

The prime minister’s answer could hardly have been clearer – or more disheartening for advocates of a radical new embrace of outsiders.

“In countries that have accepted immigration, there has been a lot of friction, a lot of unhappiness both for the newcomers and the people who already lived there,” he told the audience, as he held up a white signboard marked with a red “x” to underscore his negative position on the issue.

Aside from neighbouring South Korea, no wealthy country has combined a low birth rate and tight immigration controls the way Japan has. The country’s labour force began to shrink in the mid-1990s, and the total population peaked in 2008, at just under 130m. If nothing changes, there will be 30m fewer Japanese by 2050, and by the early 2100s – admittedly a distant extrapolation – the population could be half or even a third what it is today.

Mr Abe’s televised rejection of immigration might have surprised people who have listened to his speeches on reviving economic growth, which are full of pledges to attract international capital of both the financial and human kind.

The premier does, in fact, favour expanding some targeted programmes for importing foreign labour. He wants more outsiders to fill low-wage jobs where shortages are acute – from construction workers to nannies''

''Trends....... you are a bunch of racist scum.... trends....always - now - then - will be - racist scum - you are chelsea... end of..''

''More sober than my last post - which was post several glasses - however....... this is not new for Chelsea. Did any of you go to a game in the 1970 / 80 / 90s? I saw the National Front selling their papers openly around 2 ground - West Ham and Chelsea. Never at QPR. I do remember the socialist worker being outside the QPR ground in the 80s.

Chelsea money noised black players - even their own and were known for it.

I know we have a few idiots - but it really is a handful vs this being the core of the historical support - it was their brand.......this is not surprising.''

''Part of the beauty of this forum is that posters sometimes come on tanked up and spill out comedy ....I've not done this for a while - but reserve the right to - and possibly to offend in the name of good banter....''

It seems to me that this is the second time in 24 hours that you've felt that this is the platform to come on here and spill your vitriol in a drunken stupor
    ( See above.)
I'm afraid that this is no longer the place for you to exercise this much aligned perceived right. I do however notice that many of your posts are non QPR related and that they seem hell bent on stirring up problems. Can you post something that would sway me from this position? I somehow doubt it.
