Got to say the effort was immense today but i can't help feeling that a few of these guys will not be pulling on the hoops next season.

I reckon we will have a complete overhaul next year. We scraped it by the skin of our teeth. Hope we can build quickly and have a great start to next season. We have a great basis but some poor players.

I'm am sooooo happy at the moment but now can't wait for the transfer window and to get rid of the freeloaders and average players we have accumulated and lets see how TF will spend his money ???

Ranger, lets leave this discussion for a few days, way too much emotion to think straight at the moment.

Yeah big changes but I think were all too stressed to think clearly. I think about 15 players will go and we will see about 5-8 come in.

Agree with Nuts but gut feeling is that another complete over haul would not be the way to go.

It will be, weve got about a dozen players out of contract, players like Kenny, SWP, Barton Bothroyd that are useless to average at best and nowhere near worth the wages.

At least we will have a couple of months training and a full pre season this time.

I'monly saying this cos if we were relegated today we could have slipped into obscurity again. We can now look forwad to the club being run properly and not being denied the bit of optimism that was taken from us last pre season. The fact we can now put this season behind us ( which tbh i have thought we were a laughing stock for too long ) and build for next year, too excited for words. Feel like this is a new dawn from 5pm today...

Sparkie will definitely bring in some new players, and with his training regime will certainly have everyone match fit for the start of the new season. Really looking forward to seeing Ali Faurlin back in the squad - hopefully he can come back with the same enthusiasm as Jamie Mackie.

Although likely past his prime, I thought that Paddy Kenny actually had a pretty good game today with some great stops. In recent games I have been really proud of the promoted Championship crew of Hill, Derry & Mackie and the backbone they have provided - they have all been tremendous servants of the club this season.
