used to do it myself a few years ago, remember travelling down to Bristol Rovers for an fa cup game on a cold snowy evening, only to notice the silver City Liner with players and management heading in the opposite direction on the outskirts of Bristol !
I think the daftest one I ever did was Exeter away - an FA Cup replay back in 1980/81 (ish) - either a Tuesday or Wednesday night.
I was surprised almost 400 made the trip to Orient last night, we'd already made it clear that we were putting out entirely a reserve side, presumably a lot of them will have been southern exiles.
