Not sure if anyone is going to get overly bothered by the double post, nowt you could do about it. But what fantastic support for our lads; credit to the club for putting an attractive price and going for us full a stadium as possible, and credit to the best fans in the world for packing the stadium out. I would go myself if I wasn't so far away, but let's hope the yellow army can roar our youth team to a first leg lead to defend against Chelsea!
Totally agree re the fantastic support and I hope that they have more staff on the catering outlets, as I know some fans near me went hungry/thirsty as they got fed up waiting to be served at the game against Forest.

I'm sure we'll get 15,000 or even more. My ticket arrived today and my next door neighbour was saying the demand has been so massive that the original plan was to just open the City stand, but they've had to open the lower Barclay, lower N&P and now the Jarrold. It should be a cracking atmosphere for our youth team and hopefully we'll get a cracking game and score a few goals to take to the 2nd leg!!!!
Our youth team are likely to get more support than Wigan do for a full PL game. Great turn effort by the fans.
It's easy for drongos to say little Norwich, nothing else to do in Norfolk but the fact remains that there is a real belief by our supporters in the club and they really enjoy supporting, watching or discussing all things NCFC. Some idiot remarked to me today when I mentioned the youth final that it was kind of pathetic to get excited about it. The same idiot who has never been to a match in his life and is currently wearing his Manure scarf. The ManC, Chelsea and Barcelona scarves are still in his wardrobe! Probably next to his blow up dolly!
It was a fantastic experience to be there for the semi final and seeing Mums and Dads taking their children to the game (not sure how the younger ones would have coped in school the next day, but what an experience for them!!!) when they normally couldn't afford to take them to see first team games and the atmosphere was brilliant. Luckily, I live quite only a few miles from CR, so it's quite easy for me to get there. Looking forsward to it!!!!

For the Florist semi-final, the official figure was 6,500, but with last minute cash on the turnstile brigade (like me!) it ended up as just shy of 10,000. The Chelsea game will probably end up around 15/16,000 which is totally AWESOME !
WE ARE REAL SUPPORTERS OF OUR CLUB AND PROUD OF IT! Win lose or draw on Monday, the U18's have got to the final, not many people will ever be able to say that. I'm so pround of them and Kneeeeel Adams and his staff, what a fantastic achievement.
Absolutely ILD and I love the style of play which the youngsters use with 2 speedy wingers who aren't afraid to try and beat the defence. I'm hoping that we'll see the Murphy twins and Morris at least progressing to the reserves along with a couple of the back 4.
This is brilliant news. I think this will have a massive impact on the young'uns as well. I've noticed that, unlike in the senior matches, whether a youth team is playing home or away rarely seems to have a significant impact on the result (or at least the results are more random). I appreciate that there are other variables like the team changing regularly, but I am positive that having a crowd behind them will be a huge lift. I have not one iota of doubt that this will be the biggest crowd the Cheslea players will have been in front of and I imagine they will find it as unnerving as the Norwich players find it uplifting. Also, it's great experience if any of them are to progress to the first team - I often think one of the hardest things about a debut is that the player is trying to play his normal game, but must be overawed by the crowd too, making it hard for a manager to justify selecting them. Huge advantage already having that experience in the bag.
