either that or I am getting to old for all this!

Keep off the pitch...http://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10416~2759549,00.html? Who in their right mind has any intention of waiting around after the game for an end of season lap of failure. Rather than jeer, I prefer a silent protest and will be leaving straight after the final whistle.

Blue Rock closed after the game...http://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10416~2759696,00.html? Last game of the season and the supporters that want too, cannot even get a drink in the supposed supporters bar. Oh well may I suggest they all go straight to the proper home fans pub with cheaper beer and far more decent grub at the Cricketers (Sturdee Avenue)

Would people come to pay and see him play for ten minutes...http://www.kentonline.co.uk/kentonline/sport/2012/may/3/adam_birchall.aspx? I have some very serious doubts! Cameo appearance, please this just sounds so desperate to appease.

Like I say out of touch. Sorry but sometimes you just have to have a good old moan.

I read the title of this thread and have to say

    "YES I AM"

    That's all from me.

    For a while any way.

A better time for a lap of 'honour' would be before the final whistle - there might actually be some fans left inside the ground.
Good news about Birchall (the fact that he's joined in with first team training -not that he might play for a few minutes.)
On the subject of training - why tell us that Birchall was scoring for fun during these sessions ? Am I to get excited at the prospect that we have a lethal striker for next season ? ( aren't we already top scorers in the division ) - or do I get more gloomy about the fact that a 'non league' player who has been out all season with a serious injury, has been free scoring against our defence ? Let's hope that Birchall is able to get past 'defenders' with the (lack of) pace possessed by Frampton to score at least one more goal in each game than is scored against us........At Northampton Frampton was beaten for pace the one time when he had somebody else other than Bayo to chase to the ball - and a goal resulted.
    Up the Gills - ( can't wait for 18th August )

some simple maths has to be done:

fans that know we have failed + players that know we have failed + manger and back room staff that know we have failed = the most awkward and pointless lap of honour

I think the context of my message is being completely misunderstood.
