Providing we stay up, hopefully Short can see some money needs spending to improve us and help ensure that we arent caught in the relegation scrap again Think all of us could do with a year or two of mid-table obscurity Anyway, money being spent doesnt just mean massive transfer fees, there are some players out there available on a free, some who would slot into backup positions and some that would improve us Anyone keen on any of the players available: Glen Johnson Jon Flanagan (Injured for the long term I believe at the moment) Marcell Jansen - Left Back from Hamburg James Milner Sidney Sam - Right Winger, Schalke just released him, probably better than us but the calibre of player we should be aiming for Kevin Prince Boateng - Same as Sidney Sam, seems to have some anger issues Andre Ayew - Being linked with West Ham/Swansea/Newcastle, surely we can compete? Danny Ings - Bit similar to Fletcher/Graham build imo but far superior player Andre-Pierre Gignac - Similar story to Ings Mathieu Flamini - Getting on a bit and similar to Catts, replacement for Bridcutt? Tom Cleverly - Personally dont rate him but done well at Villa Luke Garbutt - Everton youngster, made a few appearances, could snatch him? Scott Sinclair - Probably will finalise a move to Villa but worth a look Few of these are probably out of our reach but as said we should be aiming for them, and maybe instead of large transfer fees we could put them into bigger wages for a few of these players? Will be more available but just a few of the main ones I know of!
