its a well known fact we have a fairly large amount of departures at the end of this season...

What would people want to do with those out of contract/loan deals closing etc? (my thoughts in brackets)

    Westy - (Can go)
Ustari - (Keep as backup, Pickford becoming third choice)
Vergini - (Keep, has really came on and looks very relaxed)
Alonso - (Keep at all costs, has the right mindset, plays well and works his socks off, also HE IS A LEFT BACK!)
Bardo - (Good player, wears his heart on his sleeve, keep as long as his wage demands aren't ridiculous)
    Dossena - (Can go)
    Cuellar - (Can go)
Celutska - (Would like to keep as he is a good squad player that can play across the back four, would depend on fee/wages however)
    Gardner - (Can go)
Colback - (Really want to keep, an AOL product that is a terrier and if he adds goals to his game then is a complete midfielder imo)
Larsson - (Keep only as a squad player as long as his wage demands aren't ridiculous, good player to bring on for shoring up and has a good work rate)
Ki - (Would like to keep Ki as he brought something different to our team in terms of composure and flair, would love to see him here. Due to being in last year of contract id not pay anything more than £3m however)
Borini - (Would love him to stay, however due to the rebuild needed I can't see us forking out the £8m+ to buy him and therefore a loan again is probably more likely)

I'd agree with all of that, although I don't think Liverpool would ask for £8m for Borini. If we could get him for £5m then I reckon it's a done deal.

Im sure theyd want more than 8m. They paid around 10, now hes a better player with a full pl campaign under his belt and a young pkayer of season award to boot.

Loan is the only realistic option of him not playing at Liverpool next season.

Ill think theyll keep him till jan as theyll be battling on 4 fronts and need a bigger squad.

One thing is for sure... we need to get Lakaku on loan with Borini.
