£50k would be top estimate. Kilbane is on £14k as reduced his previous 1 year £28k deal to a 2 year £14k deal. Can't see anyone else being on more than £3-4kpw and the loanees would be nominal payments I'd presume as they are here for the experience
From my reckoning about 30-35k off the wage bill, so basically what Mcshane and Ghilas are getting paid between them....
The problem is, even assuming your figure were right it's not like it's even freeing up that much to improve things. It includes our sub keeper and two of the first XI who need replacing out of that money before we even start actually improving on what we've had this season. If Mannone comes in with a transfer fee of say £500k (optimism there I know) then you could equate that to £10k a week of the saved wages if we're going to pay the fee out over the next year.
Devitt's got another year on his deal, it's harder to find accurate information on the kids. I think you can probably add Ghlias, McShane, Olofinjana, Simpson and Mclean to the potential 'out' list too.

Of those i would expect only Brady and King to be back either on further season long loans or permanant. In no way are either ready for the PL....Yet.!!! But if City can also move out Simpson, McShane and Ghilas and get them off the wage bill that does frees up alot of cash for new players. Oli,, i would like City to keep as his experience is something the club needs. imo.
Ghilas - McShane and Simpson without a seconds thought if anyone will take them off us. Free transfers just to get there full wages off the books. Oli and Mclean IMO will stay. ffs, this constant bashing of Mclean especially is stupid and infantile.
10 maybe ? but better quality players in than will Exit the out door. Quality not quantity especially under the FFP rules.
I don't see how this is going to work, we're going to lose all our depth for free, and will probably get barely anything for our other sales. Judging from what OLM says we're going to need 2 keepers, a couple of covering defenders(CB/RB) - unless we stick with Cooper and Bradley next season - a couple of wingers and a couple of strikers. So, we're looking at 6 players at the absolute minimum if we keep in a few younger players like Bradley for depth - how is that going to happen what with the FFP rules? Edit - for some reason I didn't even think about loans we could easily get away with 3 loans and 3 permanents, or 2 and 4, etc.
I dont think many if any would disagree with most of the names mentioned leaving in the summer. We have a very good match day squad but need more depth of quality not numbers. Listening to NB last night i feel that he knows exactly what he wants and who he wants. Nick is learning very fast on the management side and thank goodness he knows his football. The situation is nowhere near as bad as some would have you think. The loss of the depth you mention should not be an issue as we all know its not good enough anymore. NB will bring in better quality depth, of that i am sure.
I was more referring to the fact that we can't spend more than we bring in - how is that going to happen if we're not getting transfer fees? Or at least not much.
I don't think this was McLean bashing, it was OLM telling us what he's heard from inside the club. I'm not the expert on FFP - maybe Ricardo will be along soon to fill in the gaps of our knowledge - but I don't think it's too much to do with transfer fees. I think it's more about wages spent compared with revenue in from ticket sales, sponsorship, etc.
