According to face-ache (so who knows if it’s true) there’s a few out of contract at the end of the season, Jimmy is an obvious try and keep, but can’t see it, what about the rest?

Apparently Cook, Paal, Frey, Colback, Fox and Andersen are all out of contract come the summer.

As of now Colback would certainly be a maybe for me.

Agreed. Useful if he can avoid cards.

Colback will be on a pretty solid wage I’m sure, is 35 and spends half his life injured. Quite like the bloke after not being a fan for a while but unless he’s willing to play for little money I doubt we can afford to retain him. Varane and Morgan very much the future in there.

Similar for Cook. Great bloke, been a really good player for us but can we afford a player who appears to be on a fairly rapid decline at his age on presumably good money?

Losing a lot of experience if we release them all. Would love to keep Dunne and the others individually I’m at best meh about but that level of turnover rarely goes well and we probably can’t afford to be as tragically slow at the start of the season again.
