    6.

On paper some decent additions and depth. If Lookman signs then it may rise to a 7 as even if he leaves in the summer it would guarantee a decent fee.

With Watt gone I think we needed two centre forwards so disappointed to just have the one new addition. Centre half was the other priority position over the window; I'm content with Txeiera and will be happy when Bauer and Diarra return with our lot.

Sounds like we will use the loan market. I'd be keen to see Aluko come in if he's available.

    Against what we need: 4
Against what I was expecting: 8

But that is assuming Lookman stays until the summer, which now looks likely.

Other way round for me, TC. I am living in the Dominican Republic until the end of the season, so Rod is one of the few black fannies I won't get to see.

    5. We needed it to be 8-9.

Vaz Te and Williams crept out the back door yesterday - two more badly recruited 'regime failures'. Johnson will be added to that list soon - Riga clearly doesn't rate him.

Poyet could still come good, but looks rusty to say the least.

    Teixeira looks ok.

The Arsenal striker is a punt, but one we had to take.

Fanni is simply bizarre. Is he match fit? Was he scouted ? Surreal.

Now we have Sonogo, I doubt we'll be seeing Gnabry, as we'll then have two Arsenal loans, and I expect their club will expect to see them play. Like much of our season, the january window was much ado about nothing. Fanni may well turn out to be great, but he has the same rcent history as RoJo, of playing a little in a very poor league. I still believe we signed Poyet to show the youngsters the awfull fate of one who runs off in search of the Premiership dollars and can't get a game. Another year at the Valley would have been great for him and us. Now he could'nt get in the MK Dons team, and since then does'nt seem a shadow of the player who was with us before. There are those who describe the effect of players being 'charltonised', but Poyet and RoJo were way better when they were here.
5 out of 10, but I'll revise that with retrospect when Sonogo and Fanni get a start.

    Very underwhelmed
Clinging on to hope that Sanogo finds his level, I think Fanni will turn out to be a waste of time
Delighted to see Vaz Te, Williams and Moussa gone tho.

    2/10.

vaz te, williams and moussa being let go looked like they were shaping up and getting their sh1t in order for once. dont know why we signed sonogo or fanni. fanni wont get a game and sonogo doesnt look better than the options we already have.

If THD is deemed "not ready" - I'm amazed they didn't think LB was a priority.

We see every week that he's targeted. Not only is he targeted - he struggles.
