Watching the Carling semi tonight and McPhail had a great game. Got me to thinking, not for the first time, its almost impossible to watch games in top two divisions without at least one ex Leeds player playing. Usually they have decent games. There are dozens of them around, none of which we've loaned out but all have been either given away or as good as. It's ****ing sickening but we could probably name at least two teams made up of our ex players that would be as good or better than our current one. As I say, ****ing sickening. When will the nightmare end
And then there's Dubious Duberry!! Nice to see he hasn't changed. Crackin' hat-trick, wasn't it? Pity 2 of them were o.g.'s. Did we actually get money for him?
I have no idea but if we did we did incredibly well. The guy is an absolute joke of a footballer, I just remember when a corner was coming in and he just caught the ball and looked at the ref, only for the ref to give a penalty against him and looking absolutely stunned at why duberry did it
Focus on Duberry if you like guys but we have plenty of good uns all over the premiership. Duberry left us seven years ago, averaged about ten appearances per season so was hardly ever one of our greatest.
Yea, OneLeeds i was just thinking that. He was pretty useless in a leeds shirt, why would we have kept hold of him
Duberry scored more goals than him as well, in less appearances, only one goal more mind, but he was a defender and Mcphail was an attacking midfielder. both useless twats. ps, had to check the stats
I think you're talking him up! The one thing I remember about Dubious was his consistency. Sadly, he was consistently bad!
You dont keep a player hanging around the squad because in a 8 years he might be useful in very different team that he left. Im sure most of you are thinking 'go back to your own board' etc but I thought it was a valid point and Im not wumming
