Assuming that our back 5 picks itself at the moment. Who would others choose in midfield now Hogg is available again ? Also what kind of alternative striking combination would others like to see if Marvin Sordell is not fit enough ? What has happened to Joe Garner ? He's not on the injured list yet I haven't heard anything of him for a long time.

I'm not as anxious about Sordell as I would have been a few weeks ago. Obviously he's a talented lad and the sooner he's back the better, but the defence is doing its job and we have some hungry strikers in and out of the squad, so hopefully one of Deeney, Beattie and Garner will step up.

Dyche's comments about Deeney at the fan's forum would suggest that Beattie is most likely to play up front in if we go 4-4-2. Although with two full backs who are capable of going forward, two excellent defensive midfielders and a big man up front, 4-2-3-1 might be seriously considered.

I would not even question bringing Hogg back, I know i keep saying this but Eustace has lost most of his pace yet is liable to pick up as many yellow cards as Hogg. I also think that Marriappa is a better captain atm. I dont know why, but whenever he has led the side we have always done better. That should be reason enough.

The biggest problem will be if Sordell is injured for a period of time, we are lacking in front of goal as it is, so to loose him will be like loosing a leg (Sorry to those with leg injuries). If he is to be out for a while, i think i would give Beatie the game and bring on Deeney at about 60mins unless it was going tits up.

But thats worse case senario, hopefully Marv will be ok and play on tuesday, and maybe score the winner.

If we replace him with someone tall we'll gain a foot though.

I would hope to see Hogg back. My feeling from yesterday was that Prince was fairly anonymous without him. They seem to have formed a partnership that links play up more.

Would like to see Hogg back in the starting line-up and don't shoot me but at the expense of Eustace! Hogg and Bauben give us more going forward IMO!

Agreeing with seemingly everyone. Hogg should replace Eustace...sad fact but true, his pace is letting him down at the mo...
