Our team and goals for next season -

  1. I'll cover all areas of the pitch -

GK - Harper and Krul are good enough for me, Forster on loan to a PL club or sell for a good price.

RB - Simmo has good ability, he just needs to be coached better. He seems more afraid of giving away a penalty then trying to stop a player getting to the box. Tcyhoi has been a nightmare for us in both games vs WBA. Sack our defensive coach. Simmo. Gosling and Ferguson as cover.

CB - Colo fine, Taylor has been amazing lately and i'd keep him as a first team defender next season. HOWEVER, what lets him down is injuries, so i think it would be in our best interests if we buy another decent CB. Bassong would be a good signing.

I'd be happy with Colo, Taylor, Bassong and Willo.

LB - Enrique's gan, we have Ferguson as cover but we need an all out LB. I don't want ****ing Konchesky, so Kenny can shove his deal up his arse.

Has anyone seen much of that Cheik kid? I'm seriously not sure about this position next season. I've been impressed with Fergie but to me he'd better at LM.

RM - Barton, Raylor and Gosling can cover here, but my RM next season would be Jonas definitely. He's better crossing from the right hand side, and there'd be no reason keeping on the left now. His shooting is **** anyway, 2 screamers a season isn't what we need, we need more crosses from a winger with pace and skill on the right.

Jonas as our RM next season.

CM - Barton, Tiote, Nolan, Guthrie, Raylor and Gosling <ok>

CAM - Ben Arfa and Nolan.

LM - Nzogbia. Jonas and Fergie as cover.

Strikers - Try for Sturridge. Why not? We finished in the same area as Bolton this year, we can garuntee him first team football, we're desperate for a striker, and we're looking to push in the top 10. 12 million. It's worth a try.

Sturridge and Ba seem like no brainers for us in my opinion. Both players that want to play first team football. Both young and talented. Ba would come to us in a heart beat, and i doubt he wants to play CC football next season.

I don't want foreigners! People may say that Sturridge and Ba haven't played long enough to been proven PL strikers, but they've shown what they're capable of to me. They're both better than what we have.

Sturridge, Ba, Best, Lover, Shola/Cole/Elmander or whatever ****house we might buy.

Goal - Consistancy, better home record, stop giving away goals in early or late minutes.
I don't give a **** about demolishing teams 5-0, i just want results. We need to be beating teams like Stoke and Wigan!

I would be very happy with Bassong, M'Bengue, N'Zogbia, Ba and Sturridge. Would Fat Mike stump up the cash though to buy all these? It depends on how much we get for Jose I suppose (if he goes)!

Decent calls all round. My only issue is that you say you don't want foreigners...Ba was a 'foreign' player, yet he has performed well enough for you to feel he is a no brainer - had West Ham not gone down, I doubt he'd have been for sale, and even now, his price wil have rocketed from how much he cost West Ham to how much he will cost potential suitors! So surely you can see the merit in buying 'foreign'.

Other examples of this paying off this season: Tiote, Hernandez, Van der Vaart, Ben Arfa (all bought cheaply, all performed well above their price tag). Its no secret that English players and players in English leagues have inflated price tags, so buying sensibly from overseas, to me, makes far more sense than simply buying 'due to Premier League experience).

Having said that, Ba and Sturridge, at the right price would be a good deal!

Disagree with this one. Menez is class and is a better option than the Zog. I'd be happy with either of them though.

I'd happily take a good prospect from abroad to play next season.

    1) They are technically more gifted than their English counterparts
    2) They are usually cheaper (transfers and wages)
    3) Jelle Vossen anyone...

    4) <ski>

LB - wait until Jose signs or leaves to decide
    CB - one more
RB - new RB for cover
    RM - a dedicated RM
CM - Fine. If anything we have too many
LM - Fine with Fergie and Jonas
    ST - 2 more required.

No need to apologise lol Just saying, closing ourselves off to a massive, reduced price market is simply not good in either a business/footballing sense.

Also, in a moment of Dennis Wise inspired madness, did you watch this?

How can you not like the sound/thought of him and Ben Arfa either side of a CF/ST?

Squads are 25, and home-grown players don't count.
