Has Brucie done a good job?

Don't think he has addressed the major problems IMO and would take our squad that started last season than this lot 2bh.

Lack of flair and creativity in midfield and upfront will stop us improving year on year and esp. with no 15-20goal a season striker in the squad.

Sessegnon is the only player in our squad who can create a spark in the middle of the park which is certainly not acceptable for a team wanting to push on after finishing 10th.

I have to agree with above, we were stronger last year. I am not sure its all Bruce's fault because lets face it, if he had been given
    18m (Bent)
    20m (Hendo)
    6m (Gyan)

Then I think we might have seen better replacements.

Failure to adress the left flank is massive in my eyes and I know its all good saying this in hindsight but should we have really bought Whickham instead of a forward like Defoe or Cisse? It often makes me wonder why the bigger clubs let us get Whickham, maybe they though he wasnt ready and now his development might suffer because we have to throw him into a low confidence and losing games team with lots of pressure, we could end up ruining the kid haha its definately sink or swim for Whickham I just hope its swim.

Our summer recruitment was a total failure as we did not address any of our problem areas.Where is a classy left-winger?Where is a new quality left-back?Where is the top-quality centre-forward?Why buy a new"back-up" keeper?I believe that Wickham will make the breakthough to be a top-drawer signing, but, overall,Brucie bought in Tesco's and not Harrod's!!

Left winger and a proven striker another wasted opportunity, and now we may have to pay the price.

Nope he's done a poor job in the transfer. I was talking at work about this, and seems he buys for the sake of buying. He didn't address the LB, LW and ST situation. So all in all a poor window.

He also didn't replace Zenden and Steed, Hendo & now Gyan...
