From 5th to relegation candidates in 6 months is a real feat, even by our standards but here we are...

Assuming the inevitable relegation, (and it is really, we've played a 3rd of the season and not once played very well, it would be naive to think we'll suddenly improve in the 2nd and 3rd thirds, especially if he persists with this awful Ba and Cisse partnership. Everyman and his dog can see it doesn't work but Pardew can't.) what will our squad look like in the championship next season?

The positive is that it'll be reasonably good and strong enough to climb back up.

Don't think I've left anyone out (other than xisco who's off anyway). Think we'd be left with a solid core of young talent and older heads we could be competitve with.

recipe: Apple Pie a la badger

    Ingredients-
    1 medium sized badger
1 apple pie bought from Tesco

Wait til the badger has sex with the pie, and serve.

Feeds: Everyone, because they'll be so "full" at seeing this, they'll suddenly remember they ate an hour ago... Idiots... I mean it's a dinner party, of course there's dinner. I even made little come dine with me score cards (but only gave them a 9 and a 10, why cater for the flipping jokey-joke-makers?). Seriously, what do you expect at a dinner party? Karaoke? We had it, but that's not the point. My apple pie a la badger is legendary, especially among farmers. Got me on the cover of Perverted Magazine in '09... Awwww those were the good days, when one could a la badger anywhere they wanted without fear of reprisal. Now everyone is suddenly too PC to enjoy the delicious fruits (and badger semen). What is the world coming to? Obviously not a badger having sex with an apple pie, like me...

    Key lime pie

Enjoy a classic key lime pie topped with zingy sugar-coated lime zest
    Ingredients
375g/12oz plain or sweetmeal digestive biscuits, crushed
    150g/5oz unsalted butter
grated zest and juice of 8 large limes
    570ml/1 pint double cream
    1 x 397g/14oz can sweetened condensed milk
    crystalised lime zest, to decorate
    Preparation method
Melt the butter in a small pan and stir in the crushed biscuits. Lightly press into the base of a 23cm/9in deep loosed-bottomed fluted flan tin. Chill whilst preparing the filling.
To prepare the filling: place the lime juice into a large bowl, add the cream and condensed milk. Whisk for 1-2 minutes. Add the lime zest and lightly stir. Pour onto the prepared biscuit base. Place onto a tray and chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

Recipe: Pulled Pork with Spicy Coleslaw

    Ingredients
    For the pulled pork
    oil, for greasing
    2kg/4lb 6½oz pork shoulder
    1 tbsp chilli flakes
    1 tbsp whole grain mustard
salt and freshly ground black pepper
    200ml/7¼fl oz white wine vinegar
    250ml/9fl oz cider
    3 onions, finely sliced
    6 cloves garlic, sliced
    For the coleslaw
    half white cabbage, finely chopped
    2 carrots, grated
    2 red onions, finely sliced
1 red chilli, seeds removed, finely chopped
    175g/6oz mayonnaise
salt and freshly ground black pepper
    1 lime, juice only
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    To serve
    crusty baguettes
    ready-made barbecue sauce

    Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 170C/340F/Gas 3.
For the pulled pork, oil a baking tray and place the pork shoulder on top. Mix together the chilli, mustard and salt and freshly ground black pepper, then rub the mixture into the pork shoulder.
Pour the vinegar and cider over, then scatter over the onion and garlic.
Cover with parchment paper, then wrap in foil and place into the oven to roast for three hours. Remove the parchment and foil, then roast for another hour.
'Pull' the pork by sticking a fork in the shoulder and shredding the meat into small pieces with another fork. Then mix with barbecue sauce (optional but I insist you do really)

For the coleslaw, in a separate bowl, mix together all of the coleslaw ingredients until well combined.
To serve, pile the pulled pork shoulder on a serving plate and spoon the coleslaw next to it. Serve with crusty baguettes and barbecue sauce to taste.

If we go down to League 2 at least we'll be able to meet up with HB.

To be honest, I think you're all being very optimistic, just look at the statiscicless we are clearly doomed, for non league football, and the eventual shut down. Evidence, I have lots, just your too dumb to know it.. I'LL BE LAUGHING WHEN IM PROVEN RIGHT

Come on lads/lasses, OP is just writing a thread.

There are positives there, but also quite a lot of doom and gloom.

Were not getting relegated, but who knows. (Time will tell).
