Our season without the Van Persie Goals

I know you can't really do this, because if Van Persie had never existed we'd probably have a different player who might be good too. And he made lots of assists. And matches would be completely different, etc, etc. However, let's just minus his goals off our season and see what happens, eh?

In the League

Newcastle 0-0 Arsenal (1)
Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool (1)
Man United 8-1 Arsenal (1)
Arsenal 1-0 Swansea (4)
Arsenal 1-0 Bolton (7)
Tottenham 2-1 Arsenal (7)
Arsenal 0-1 Sunderland (7)
Arsenal 1-1 Stoke City (8)
Chelsea 3-2 Arsenal (8)
Arsenal 1-0 West Brom (11)

In a way, Van Persie has won us 8 points this season. That's almost half, and doesn't include assists.

Champions League:

Dortmund 1-0 Arsenal
Arsenal 2-1 Olympiakos
Marseille 0-1 Arsenal
Arsenal 0-0 Marseille

This would put us third behind Dortmund and Marseille.

In the Cups he hasn't influenced it much yet.

In short, it looks like without him we'd be totally ****ed.

without Verminator you will not keep any cleansheets let alone the bonus goals he brings you..


IMO - verminator is far more important to you than RvP.

last 2 games you have conceded 0 goals - coincidence?
