mate, initially it seems a little strange but spin it this way we wanted their players...who they wanted themselves to keep. thats one category they half interested in our players...who we ourselves want out. different category think it makes sense we buy, then sell rather than tying in. think that secures our bargain position a little better. its not 100% easy logic to follow, but goes a little way to explain something that seems like nonsense on the face of it
