I know that SB has come out and basically said if our players do not abuse Twitter he won't stop them leaving.

I like them on Twitter as it allows us to contact them...

However I have noticed Connor Wickham's twitter has gone??

What do you think that is about? Clever on his side. He can just concentrate on his football.

You think of any other reason?

Twitter certainly makes players more accessible. But there is a FINE line between what can and can't be acceptable. Take Barton and even Bent attempting to facilitate moves/generally causing mischief.

To not embrace things such as twitter is short sighted and the club have taken the right steps with regard to twitter policy.

He's still on there? ... Using it a couple of days ago .... @ConnorWickham10

As for players using twitter, doesn't bother me, it's their talking on the pitch that counts!

The sunderland lads who use twitter use it well as do the Hartlepool players. Gives a good insight into what the players are thinking. I think its great.
