good article. one game isn't long enough to make a judgement but I did see a lot to be optimistic about last Saturday. I will miss this week's games which is dissapointing. work is taking me abroad again. back in time for the Leicester game and really looking forward to that one.

2 very interesting articles, I am so far impressed how NB is handling himself and the media, which is a refreshing change. Lets hope he continues to get the best out the team, which I am sure he will, and continue by get a good win today UTT.

    a) its evident from both articles the massive amount of respect and affection for him within football and even in the media.

    b) it's clear the from the getgo he's been gearing up for management, absorbing styles, attitudes and the differing focus that managers have.

    c) he loves 'our' club

The article from The Independent is very interesting indeed. It'll be interesting to see if his 'no set positions when going forward' strategy works against the better teams in this league.

NB will know that defenders don't like forwards interchanging, as it is difficult for defenders to know who to pick up. I think this is the difference between NB & NP who was very much a defensive minded with a rigid formation up front, is maybe the reason why we have found it difficult to score. Anyhow time will tell, and lets hope his stratagy works today.

I agree, fluidity in attack can be very hard for defenders to deal with, especially a lot of Championship defenders who don't possess the ability to "read the game". However, my only concern is that are our attackers mature enough to play in this system, especially against the better teams who may try to exploit our fluid strategy by attacking quickly and efficiently on the counter attack. Only time will tell though, as you said.
