Now as we all know (well the ones who didn't have us to finish top 6 in our predictions do) that this league in an extremely tough one. It seems every game is an ex premier league team or a team who are always up there fighting to promotion. Now looking at our next 6 games it's hard to see where our next 3 points will come from

    Brighton A
    Cardiff A
    Fulham H
    Wolves H
    Bolton A
    Hull H

Obviously the home games are key, as that's where we have to be picking up our points, but we don't have one game at Ashton Gate where you think we could nick 3 points. Away from home isn't much better, We go to 2 grounds where we don't have much luck and then an ex premier league team, although Bolton are struggling so that fixture seems our most likely to gain maximum points. Can't see more than 3-4 points coming from that lot

    HOWEVER!

The next 6 seem a little kinder to us,

    Rotherham H
    Blackburn H
    Huddersfield A
    Derby A
    QPR H
    Charlton H

I look at that little cluster and can see 8-11 points up for grabs. Anyway those 12 fixtures, plus Burnley away take us to the new year. So if my predictions are correct we're looking at a maximum of 15 points from now until January... Hope I'm wrong and we now pick up some form but just cant see it.

Yes a tough run of games, but we won at Middlesbrough, so can win anywhere

Apart from Reading there has not been a game where we have been outclassed, so I'm hopeful

We have team & a manager with the spirit to win games in the championship, I have no fears about our next two games, the team will not let us down & we will win one of them.

I see what you mean regarding the Middlesbrough win but that is a ground which we are fairly good at, unbeaten in 4 or 5 games. Brighton, Cardiff, Bolton are all grounds we don't have much luck and we never beat Wolves home or away, they love playing us. Hull is a bit of a hard one to call, we can beat them but they usually run out winners. As said above, I'm not comfortable about the first 6 but the next 6 seem a lot better. Damage control is a must, if we are to be beaten we must make sure it's by one the one goal. GD will play a part this season in who goes down. It's been shown we can score (like the last time we were in this league) but goals conceded is a problem

the biggest damage control is not dropping points to teams within 7 points of us, which at the moment is all the way up to 8th team

We've gone back to being a little unpredictable, and at times in the second half on Friday we seemed to have the mentality of a minnow playing in the FA Cup, and you cant play every game like that at this level.

We still give the ball away too easily at times and need to sharpen up all round.

If we can get something from Fulham and Wolves at home and Bolton away, then we should be set up to hopefully try and get maximum points from Rotherham, Blackburn and Charlton for starters, and QPR aren't that great either.
