Not a very good schedule for our next five games, Norwich at home slipped in between four rather tiring away games. I won't be going to the Maritimo game but I'll be fitting the other four games into my agenda. Anybody else intend going?

    Mon
    17-Sep
    8pm
    Sky Everton away

    Thu
    20-Sep
    ELGSM1
    6pm
    Maritimo away

    Sun
    23-Sep
    Norwich home

    Wed 26-Sep
    COC 3
    Sky
    Man Utd away

    Sat
    29-Sep
    Reading away

I hope we play a team full of younguns for the Manure away game. The Capital cup should just be sacrificed.

Maritimo will be tough, but I expect Pardew will rest a lot of key players as he did say the PL will be our priority.

I hope we make the Norwich and Reading games a priority, because we really need the points from these games. A result vs Everton would be great.

I think we should play these line ups -

    Everton (a)
    17 sep

    Marv-----Ba-----HBA

    -------Cabaye-------

    ---Tiote--Jonas(c)-----

    Santon-Perch-Saylor-Anita

    ----------Krul----------

We cannot play 4-4-2 vs Everton.

    Maritimo (a) 20 sep

    ------Cisse-------

    Marv---Vuckic----Obertan

    ---Bigi--------Perch----

    Ferguson-Willo-Tav--Anita

    ---------Harper(c)---------

    Norwich (h) 23 sep

    Ba----Cisse-----HBA

    -----Cabaye-------

    --Tiote---Jonas----

    Santon-Perch-Saylor-Anita

    -------Krul-----------

    Manure (a) - 26 sep -

I dunno. Just a load of kids and some fringe players. Get little Campbell, Vuckic, Fergie, Good and all them in.

    Reading (a) 29 sep

    Ba----Cisse----HBA

    -----Cabaye------

    --Tiote--Jonas---

    Santon-Perch-Saylor-Anita

    --------Krul---------

This is gonna be hard on a few on our players, but we have no choice but to try and pray no one gets an injury through fatigue.

Will be going to the Norwich game but that will be the lot before hopefully getting to a few games during October and November.

Were the draw a bit kinder I'd have said give the League Cup a good go but I think we have to be realistic and rotate.

Harper, Tav, Good, Willo, Fergie, Marv, Abeid, Bigi, Mouthful, Campbell, Ameobi (Sammy if fit).

That side wouldn't be embarrassed considering Man Utd will also be resting players and who knows, we could cause a cupset. Either way it'd be great experience for some of the lads and give our regulars a rest.

A very trying five games that could potentially shape our season.

The league has to be our prime objective, but as you say, Man Utd aren't going to be fielding their strongest team either so that team could very well get us through to the next round.
