10 goals conceded in 3 games with the Hudson/Turner partnership. 3 goals conceded in the 3 games prior to that... has Malky got this right? I don't think so!

Your thoughts...

Turner chooses not to listen to Marshall's shouts for the ball, either he has a hearing problem because I can hear him from half way up the Ninian or he has no confidence in Marshall.Changes must be made for the Burnley game.

Goal 3 for Posh dubious penalty
Goal 4 for Posh 2 yards off side
Goal 1 for Barnsley a deflection

How many of the 9 goals can be blamed on either centre half ?

Well let's not be ambiguous about this. Basically the heart of the defence does more than just mark and defend. It also arranges and organises. It pumps the 'defensive blood', the "heart and soul" of the defensive mindset around the pitch and throughout the team. While not all goals can be blamed purely on the individual acts of a centre half; the player's positioning and commitment can have a huge effect on other players' abilities to defend a situation.

It doesn't matter whether or not the referee blows a whistle... You still have to defend. Weren't we all told from a very young age to play the whistle. Flukey goals are still goals. If they go a shot away then it should still be defended. I now that I sound harse but how many excuses do we make for them and for how long? 3 more goals in the next game and 3 or 4 after that? Crosses should be dealt with (are they?) and shots should be blocked or prevented.

The right centre half pairing is key to any team's ability to keep clean sheets. I'm not sure that Malkay has the correct pairing here at the moment. Are you?
