have seen a recent thread regards lindleys catering company. have noticed (excuss the pun) they have fingers in alot of pies at alot of football clubs around the country, one being oxford utd.
for whum a section of people in the supporters trust at the club have questioned it's refreshment prices within the ground (highest in division 2), to which oxford have said it's catering company lindleys set the prices.
lindleys have responded with the prices reflects the quality of the food and portion sizes!

when we got our first away win last season at oxford (won't forget that anytime soon...get in!) i must say i was not impressed with the food and how much it cost me...thats for sure when your buying for more than yourself as well!

just hope these high prices are not a sign of things to come at gillingham in the near future? :emoticon-0149-no:

If you read the sun yesterday it said we were the 3rd most expensive day out in league two already so I don't think a few extra pennies for a pie will really be noticed.

gfclukey, so you can comprehend spending £2.30/40 on a cup of tea can you? or the food is like you would really want it...don't answer that! <laugh>

didn't say we were cheap for div 2...find the prices we pay for what we buy too high anyway...burgers cold, cheese like card and yet might as well be done in the microwave.
by the time you receive it the match has started...so service is also a must!

to think we might get the same standard of food for more money...no way is that right!

yes we do need to make an income and move with the times...lets at least have bigger portions and tastier food for what we pay though!

    you fat ba*t***d :emoticon-0110-tongu

slightly off track with some of these comments, but there we go!!!

McDonalds is a world famous fast food outlet, how many people do you think they serve in 15 minutes ?

Serving several hundred people with fresh food in 15 minutes is a big ask, lets see how they perform on Saturday and then we can give comments based on fact.
