Ok, i've been thinking about who should be playing and who should be on the bench in our up comming games and it has got me wondering where everyone is at with there injuries/fitness.

Currently we have Cazorla, Arteta, Ramsey at full fitness and being included in match day squads. Wilshere is on the fringe of his return and youngsters like Ganbry and Eisfield are available.

Oxocube picked up a knock, Diaby is out, Rosicky is out, Frimpong has not returned to fitness fully yet as far as im aware. What is Coq's situation? And does anyone know when these players are expected back in action?

At the moment it looks like our midfield 3 picks itself with Wilshere comming on as a sub until he is ready to start. Then it'll probably be Cazorla-Arteta-Wilshere with Ramsey comming off the bench or being pushed wide as Wenger seems to like to do for certain games (does he see Ramsey as a poor mans Iniesta?).

When can we expect our injured players back? In particular Rosicky and Diaby? If we can get these 2 fit then the competition for places we need will be back and it will be genuinely difficult to choose who starts and who even makes the bench!

Frimpong - Along with Wilshere and Sagna has been playing in the under 21 games and he has completed 90 minutes in his three previous games at this level. I think he will return for the game against Reading next week.

Coquelin - He was on the bench for the game against Norwich despite reports of him being injured, so I will assume that he is alright. I would actually start him for the game against Schalke. A bit more defensive but hopefully he can speed up our passing in midfield. I thought it was painfully slow against Norwich.

In my mind, I have ruled out Diaby for the rest of the year. Past experience tells me that this will sadly be the case. As for Rosicky, Wenger keeps saying he is '2 to 3' weeks away.

Nice to hear Frimpong is closer to return than i thought and that Coq is available! I think Coq should get more game time than Frimpong at the moment as he has impressed more when he has been given opportunities and shown his versatility by filling in at RB last season - he is getting to an age where he will want to get a chance to play and this season he should get chances. I agree about the slowness of our passing against Norwich as well.

Rosicky and Diaby are two players who can really make a difference to our team - it is so frustrating to not have them available! Rosicky in the form he showed last season would be hard not to include in the team and Diaby has proven whenever he is fit that he can dominate games on his own a la Yaya Toure. With them fit we have such a quality midfield. I really hope they both return to fitness.
