After last night's result, I feel like I am in dream land! This team just keep surpassing all expectations! Yet another club record broken last night I think - 5 away wins in a row or something like that?

I'm loving every minute of being a Saints fan right now!

You couldn't resist a quick check back, like me CBK.
In addition, the Charlton and Peterborough games really were in the bag ... ALMOST!
    Phenomenal.

    A truly phenomenal run.
But we all knew we had a great group of players, its just the rest of football is waking up to that now.

Yes it is fantastic - and in how many of those 25 games did Oxo feature? I know why he went to Arsenal - he wouldn't be guaranteed a place in our team currently.

Read an article by the chap on Southampton FansOnline. I don't usually take much note of what he says but I did like his calculations for a top six finish.

    Our points per game 2010/2012 - 2pts

Estimating 77 points for sixth spot and assuming we beat Millwall at home on Saturday, that gives us 65 points to attain from 42 matches.

    This amounts to around 1.55 pts a game or in 6-game form - 3W 1D 2L.

Not until Xmas will we really know what we are capable of this year. I have a feeling we might want to set our sights a little higher by then. Time will tell.

    UTS!!!

I noticed that Huddersfield still haven't lost since we beat them last Christmas. And they're 15th in League One (aka 38 places below us).

Yeah, all this talk of Huddersfield's "amazing undeafeated run" annoys me as we have amassed a lot more points than them over the last 25 games, there's a reason they're only 15th in League One atm!

I wonder if Huddersfield fans still think their team is better than ours?

The Peterbrough game was on my birthday I remember I bet everyone we would win and when they scored in the last few minutes... Well lets just say it was a painful night for my liver.
