When fully fit, here are what I would consider out first 3 starting XIs, not including players listed as on loan on Arsenal website.

    ---------------Szczesny-----------------
    --Sagna--Koscielny--Vermaelen--Santos--
    ----------------Song--------------------
    ----------Arteta-----Wilshere------------
    -Chamberlain-------------------Gervinho-
    ----------------v.Persie-----------------

    -----------------Fabianski-----------------
    --Jenkinson--Djourou--Mertesacker--Gibbs--
    -----------------Coquelin------------------
    ----------Rosicky--------Ramsey-----------
    -Walcott--------------------------Arshavin-
    ------------------Henry-------------------

    ----------------Mannonne-------------
    --Yennaris--Squillaci--Miquel--______--
    -----------------Frimpong-------------
    ---------Benayoun------Diaby---------
    -Park-------------------------Miyaichi-
    -----------------Chamakh-------------

Not too bad squad depth is it now...

    Have I missed anyone?

But how many of those players can we actually rely on? Some of those players, through no fault of their own, have been thrust into Prem action this season and looked pretty terrible i.e Jenkinson, Park and Fabianski. Then you have players like Chamakh, Arshavin and Squillaci who quite clearly aren't up to the job in the Premier League. Add to that injury prone players who have the 'potential' but we NEVER seen them - Gibbs, Diaby.

Compare that to United's bench - they have Valencia, Nani, Park, Giggs and Young all competing for the wings. Berbatov, a player who barely makes the bench, scores consistently when given the chance. Our back-up players look good on paper, but very rarely deliver on the pitch.

But in terms of them players, jenkinson is probably joint 2nd choice with the mexican fella, and will only get a handful of games between them (sagna is normally solid all season)

park could still come good, only had one or 2 chances give him time!

Chamakh is the what 4th choice? probably 5th if bendtner ever comes back
RVP, Henry, Park, Walcott, bendtner, Chamakh

same with squirrel! Koss, Verm, mert, djou, miguel, song are all before him

    @Jayram

If they were playing for someone else, I would take:

Shezza, Vermi, Kosc, Sagna, Wilshere, Chamberlain, Arteta, Van Persie, Miyachi, Mertesacker, Coquelin and Walcott.

jenkinson is the worst Arsenal player i have ever seen just when i thought i seen the worst in Fabianski along comes Jenkinson. We have too many passengers in the squad. The following players are taking up a lot of our wage budget ie Arshavin,Chamakh, Squallaci,Dojouru, Almunia, Fabianski,Diaby, Walcot. That's 8 player that do not contribute enough and take least £250,000 a week all together out of our wage budget.

With spare 1/4 of million we could attract at at least 2 world class players ie David Villa, Danie De Rossi.

A lot of people are struggling with the difference between, "afford" and "attract". However, we can neither afford or attract these two. Adebayor was reportedly on something like 175K-225K/week, so I would image they will command more, but even apart from that it would destroy our wage structure. You cany pay one person 175K and the other senior players 100K less.

The other thing is is we pay 175K, Man City will offer them 180K.

The other thing is, they are not for sale.

Yup, Jenkinson is awful, people are blowing his trumpet, those people truly need help !!!

From that team Jayram listed as worthy of playing for Arsenal, I'd remove Song, I will NEVER acknowledge he is good enough for us.

Still think we need a proper attacking midfielder, someone super creative
