    Players get injured.

Granted they recover quicker at Clubs that have proper medical facilities, but at Charlton Athletic everybody drinks from the tap.
After all, it's not like we have a multi-millionaire owner.

Besides, do we really need any of those players to finish in :emoticon-0171-star: 21st place :emoticon-0171-star: this season?
Here's to limping on until January <cheers>

    Josh Cullen out 6-8 weeks.

    A disaster if true.

i said to my mate on saturday that it might actually be a good thing in the long run. if he's injured come january, West ham will be less likely to offer him a contract. we might be able to pick him up for free come the end of the year.

West Ham are said to want £4m for Cullen in January.

Not an unreasonable price - for an ambitious new owner.

Oz is "touch and go" according to Bowyer for Luton. Cullen has a scan today, we should know a bit more. LB has also said Matthews won't be up to another game so soon.

Much depends on whether Cullen has strained his ankle ligament or snapped it. If it’s the latter and requires an op, we are unlikely to see him in a Charlton shirt again, which would be a massive pity. You need 11 Josh Cullen - standard players in the Championship. We have around six.

Surprised that in Adam Matthews we have yet another player who apparently can’t play twice in a week.

Just back from injury, and he had no pre-season before that, so I'd say that's what comes of a policy of signing freebies after the window closes. Once he's fully fit he might be fine.

And we all know that actually means 10 to 14 weeks, if we are lucky.

What happened to that talk about 'maybe Taylor will be on the bench against Millwall'?
And further back, when he was first injured, it was almost a given that he would be back in time for the Millwall game.

Yet here we are over a fortnight afterwards, and no sign of him.

Yes, but think of the money Douchatelet is saving by allocating a very small budget to our medical dept. Roland pays the bills.

Gallagher will be back from suspension at Middlesbrough, and hopefully rested. Bowyer says that 2/3 others also have a chance of making it.

On the down side, the excellent Tom Lockyer is now suspended. We have nobody to partner Jason Pearce at centre back.

Was Lockyers yellow for the foul (which is wasn’t ) or for dissent?
