The win in Dortmund yesterday got me thinking about our other great away victories in Europe, and thinking about where this Dortmund win ranks among those wins. For me, my top five are:

    1) AC Milan 0-2 Arsenal

At the time, Milan were European champions and had players like Pirlo,Kaka,Seedorf and Gattuso in their team. We not only beat them, but we completely dismantled them with our passing. Cesc Fabregas was at the heart of our stunning performance and he was far too good for Milan and had them chasing shadows all night. Also with this win we became the first English side to beat AC Milan at the San Siro.

    2) Inter Milan 1-5 Arsenal

We went there on the brink of getting dumped out of the group, and Inter had already beaten us by three goals to none at Highbury. Henry tore them apart on the night and showed why at the time he was the best forward in the world.

    3) Real Madrid 0-1 Arsenal

Even though we only won by one goal, we were by far the better team and completely outclassed the Madrid galacticos. Henry's sole goal will live long in the memory, loved the way he bounced off fat Ronaldo. And with this win, we became the first English side to beat Madrid at the Bernabéu.

    4) Borussia Dortmund 0-1 Arsenal

Odds against us and facing one of the most feared teams in Europe, who had only failed to score in one of their last 60 home games, had won their last eight CL home games, which included the 4-1 mauling of Real Madrid.

    5) Bayern Munich 0-2 Arsenal

This was against Bayern Munich side that won everything that season and we went there and did the unthinkable by beating them and keeping a clean sheet. Also this win started this great run we are currently on, so it's a huge win despite that fact that it was not enough for us to progress to the last eight.

For me , the Inter Milan one is the dogs bollox .

The match that really irks me to this day is the Barca match at the Nou camp , we were winning that tie until the WANKER referee sent van Persie off for the stupidest most ridiculous reason ever .

That Inter Milan game. I still haven't seen such a dominant CF display, Henry was just on another level that night.

The Madrid game is still the most special for me given the caliber of opposition we were up against that night.
