today we tried to play hearts off the park but were stopped by their persistant fouling to break up play. A strong ref would have booked a couple of their players early on and this would have stopped their foul play and let football be the beautiful game. This was an extremely entertaining game despite the ref, but we shoould have won it hands down if we had benn allowed to play without being stopped illegally. How thomson stayed on the park is unfathemable, ( I bet you don't read that word much unless your name is Captain Nemo). They commited 20 fouls to our 11, yet we had 5 players booked to their 3. How does anyone expect crowds to come back to football when the team that sets out to entertain is not protected, by the ref from those who set out to break up play by persisitent fouling???
