One aspect I find intriguing. It seems in recent games that we suddenly click in matches and boost our energy and pace in a more direct attacking style. Does anyone else see this?

At Leeds we never got into gear. Against Leicester I think we kicked in at the end of 1st half, and in the 2nd half, the game swung our way as we upped the tempo and aggression. Some of our swift moves were simply dazzling, one around the 65th min. Whether it's a KM tactic, or a collective wtf, lets give this a go, I cant say. It got the crowd roaring too.

It's as others have commented, when we slow things down, pass pretty sideways, backwards, we get lost against more powerful, pacier and stronger teams. Our belief came back in spite of losing Hirst. We were the stronger team at the end.

The thing I've noticed when this has happened in a few of the more recent games is Morsy has got more space as the games gone on and this has turned the game in our favour. These teams including Leicester pretty much man marked him out of the game first half. Not really sure why Leicester stopped doing this as it was working but a combination of Ndidi going off and Luongo coming on made a difference to Morsy.

I have no problem with Taylor and think he looks a good player but Luongo really seems to bring the best out in Morsy, its like there is less pressure on him and he just starts dominating because he knows he's got a combative experienced CM next to him.

I did think the forward players started to look a bit jaded towards the end until they were replaced though.

Taylor’s undoubtedly a good player, he just doesn’t seem to click in a role alongside Morsy. With Hirst now out for a bit could Taylor do a job up top?

I think he's looked good and it's worked okay, but Morsy and Luongo just really seem to click together. I didn't think Evans brought the best out of Morsy either probably to a worse degree than Taylor but that is mainly because I think Morsy is better as the deepest midfielder (which isn't the case when he played with Taylor)...perhaps because Luongo plays higher than Morsy but he can also play from deep Morsy has more freedom to drive forwards from his best position because he knows Luongo has better defensive qualities than say Taylor has. I think it's our best most balanced midfield pairing probably since Holland and Magilton.

As for Taylor not sure he could play as a striker, I think we have others more suited to that role however I certainly think he could and should be used higher up the pitch in the 10 role at times. Chaplin is undoubtedly our best player in that position but there has been times where he hasn't been in the game and I think we could use Taylor in that role to offer a bit more control in midfield plus a bit more of a physical presence higher up the pitch (and great long range shooting). I guess there could be an option of playing Taylor in the 10 pushing Chaplin or Broadhead up to be the main striker, therefore giving us more of a physical presence up front.
