The changes were made in the absence of Dan Seaborne, whilst precautions were taken with Dan Harding and Frazer Richardson.
"We have a great update on Dan Seaborne because he has actually come out of hospital, so that's really pleasing. He still has a fair old way to go and it's one step at a time, but he is now out of hospital so that is good.
"Frazer Richardson just got a little nick in his calf against Swindon and he had to come off in the training session on Thursday. He was desperate to go out and play, but I have had to make the call because I didn't want him to have to come off after ten minutes having pulled his calf and then miss three weeks.
"My gut feeling wasn't to play him as we have a lot of games coming up so that's why he didn't feature.
"Dan Harding jarred his knee in training. It just shows that we have got squad of players and that if opportunities arise for others to come in we can deal with that.
