After completing this year´s first double
We don´t want to let ourselves down,
And be doubled ourselves by Palace:embarrassed:
When we visit old London town,
And although that may seem unlikely
I´m sure that PL is aware,
That in this league strange things can happen:emoticon-0104-surpr
Especially if we don´t prepare,
But if we do, then three points down there
Should really be well within reach,:emoticon-0169-dance
They´re one more of that group of strugglers
Whose defences we ought to breach,
Although of the twenty-six points scored
The twenty have come when at home,
So we´ll need to respect them duly:emoticon-0139-bow:
As they´ve just got Vaughan back on loan,
And Selhurst Park is, as we all know
A friendly and jolly old place,
But not if the Eagles are flapping
And desperate to keep apace,
With Burley now just part of history:)
They´ve turned to a Palace old boy,:undecided:
To try and restore fame and fortune
Where he played with success and joy,
But as we know ourselves that idea
Does not always work for the best,:headbang:
Despite their undoubted endeavour
They sometimes just don´t pass the test,
Though I liked Freedman as a player
So I hope he has some success,
As new boss for that flock of Eagles
As soon as we´ve all left their nest,<peacedove>
And although our date at the Palace
Will not be for the Honours List,
Those three points, if we can take ´em:biggrin:
Are a royal treat, not to be missed. OTBC

* x 5 from me! Palace got lucky when they beat us the first time, and these 3 points are necessary against a lowish team if we are serious about auto promotion!

I've been to Palace 5 times too and I have never seen us win there! We often get some form of bad luck against Palace.

I won't forget Johnson diving to win a penalty...Grrr

Very good RBf. :emoticon-0137-clapp

Me neither F1. If I remember correctly he recreated that dive as a goal celebration after scoring at CR, and right in front of the City Stand too. <steam> I think it was the first game of our Prem season.

I fancy the tide will turn tomorrow, PL and his team have already laid plenty of ghosts to rest, so why not one more against another bogey team. 2-0 City!! OTBC
